Two weeks in Cape Town. A chance to relax, organise visas, service the bike and put on a few pounds around the waist in preparation for the long journey up the west coast of Africa. With relatively cheap food and alcohol (US$0.50 a beer!!), we haven’t held back

Visits to both Lesotho consulates in Pretoria and Johannesburg failed to deliver a quick visa for Iza, who is traveling only on a Polish passport and needs to apply in advance.
